A friendly and inclusive tennis club, we are situated at Christow in the beautiful Teign Valley in mid Devon.

Over the last 30 years the Teign Valley Tennis Club has developed into a thriving club with 3 courts, 2 with floodlighting and a Club House.

The main aim of the Teign Valley Tennis Club is to involve as many people in tennis as possible, from children to veterans - we welcome everyone regardless of playing ability. We are not just a social tennis club though and we have six teams playing in the Ladies' League, Mens' League and Mixed East Devon League, and there will be several Club tournaments over the course of the year.

During the summer we also have friendly mixed doubles against local clubs, which gives everyone interested an opportunity to play outside the Club.

Junior and Senior group coaching continues all year round.

There are 2 Club sessions every week throughout the year: Wednesday from 6.00 pm, and 9:30 on Saturdays. These sessions are open to adult members, and to more capable juniors by invitation of the committee. Check the WhatsApp Group to see who's playing.

We welcome new members to the Club and if you wish to find out more about the Club, please click here for names and telephone numbers of Committee Members, who will be pleased to tell you more.

We hold several family and adult tournaments during the year, often accompanied with a BBQ, afternoon tea etc. Details of club tournaments are published here and details of upcoming events and competitions can be found here.

Visitors and players on holiday are very welcome to contact us while in the area.
